STAYING IN A RENTAL?
We'll come to you
Many couples choose to rent a beach house in Orange Beach and have us set up the ceremony directly on their beach access. It's one of the most relaxed and personal ways to get married — your guests are steps from the water, and the whole weekend feels like a private celebration.
Confirm with your rental host that the property allows wedding ceremonies before booking
Make sure adequate parking is available for our setup team on arrival
We'll scout and confirm your exact beach setup spot in advance
All packages apply — everything is still fully handled by us
PERMITS & FEES
A beach wedding permit is required for all ceremonies on Orange Beach public beach — permit fee is $150, plus $15 per car for parking
We handle the permit application on your behalf — nothing for you to arrange
If you're using a beach house rental, confirm the property is wedding-friendly before booking
WHAT TO EXPECT
Orange Beach is one of the Gulf Coast's most popular destinations — the beach can be busy, especially in summer during the day
Multiple ceremonies may take place on nearby sections of beach — we ensure your setup area is clearly defined
Parking at public beach access points can fill up quickly; arrive early or carpool when possible
BEACH RULES
No alcohol or glass containers on the beach
No open flames or candles
No balloons, glitter, confetti, or sky lanterns
No setup directly adjacent to boardwalks — required for emergency vehicle access
BEST TIME TO GET MARRIED
April–early June: warm, uncrowded, and ideal photography light
September–October: much less crowded, cooler temperatures, and dramatic skies at sunset
Summer (July–August): busy during the day but noticeably less crowded and cooler at sunset — great for an evening ceremony
Winter (Nov–Feb): mild, very uncrowded, and perfect for intimate elopements
Accessibility note: The walk from the boardwalk to our ceremony setup area crosses soft sand, which can be difficult for guests with limited mobility or elderly family members. We strongly recommend arranging a beach wheelchair rental in advance. Two great options: Lazy Days Beach Rentals and Beach Power Rentals.
Where to stay nearby
Orange Beach has a wide range of accommodation options — from beachfront condos and rental houses to full-service hotels. We recommend booking early, especially for spring and summer dates.
Hilton Garden Inn Orange Beach
Convenient and comfortable, close to the ceremony site and dining. A reliable choice for out-of-town guests.

April through early June and September through October are the sweet spots — warm temperatures, lower humidity, and excellent golden-hour light for photography. Summer weddings are beautiful; evening and sunset ceremonies in summer are noticeably less crowded and cooler. Winter offers mild temperatures and very uncrowded beaches, ideal for intimate elopements.
-
We recommend booking 4 to 6 months in advance for spring and fall dates. Summer weekends fill quickly. We do accommodate last-minute ceremonies when availability allows — it's always worth calling even if your date is coming up soon.
-
Absolutely. Our Orange Beach elopement packages are perfect for couples who want an intimate, stress-free ceremony — just the two of you or a small group. Elopement packages include an officiant, photographer, and full ceremony setup.
-
The walk from the boardwalk to the ceremony setup area crosses soft sand, which can be challenging for guests with limited mobility. We recommend arranging a beach wheelchair rental in advance through Lazy Days Beach Rentals or Beach Power Rentals. We are not permitted to set up directly adjacent to the boardwalk, as this is required to keep pedestrian pathways clear for emergency vehicle access.

If you have a backup location in mind, just let us know! We reserve the right to refuse to perform at any location if weather conditions could be unsafe for you, your guests, and our team.
If there is a storm, we can reschedule for the next day or another date that works for everyone. If it rains, we will wait up to one hour for it to stop — and if it doesn't, we can move the wedding to the next day. For light rain, the show goes on — just bring umbrellas! Sometimes we may also adjust your ceremony time to work around the weather, so a little flexibility goes a long way.
We highly recommend looking into Event Weather Insurance through a provider of your choice. It can be a lifesaver for unexpected storms, hurricanes, or anything else life throws your way!
