All-Inclusive Gulf Shores Beach Wedding Packages

Say "I do" on Alabama's Gulf Coast — with white sand, warm water, and nothing between you and the horizon.

Gulf Shores is one of the most sought-after wedding destinations on the Gulf of Mexico, and it's easy to see why. The soft quartz sand, crystal-clear water, and sea breeze create a setting that no venue can replicate. We've been planning beachfront ceremonies here since 2014, and we handle every detail so you can be fully present on your wedding day.

Whether you're eloping with just a witness or celebrating with family and friends, we'll help you create a ceremony as beautiful and personal as your relationship.

Venue Location

Gulf Shores State Park Beach

The easiest way to find the Location is to Google “Beach Pavilion”
Google Maps Pin

Our park-assigned setup location is Boardwalk #3. When facing the water, please park on the far left side of the lot near the "Parasail Here" sign.

Permit & parking

A beach wedding permit for this location costs $150, plus $15 per car for parking. We handle the permit application as part of your package.

Pavilion rental

You do not need to rent the pavilion for your ceremony — we set up on the open beach. However, if you'd like a covered backup option for rain or plan to hold your reception there, pavilion rental is available separately. Note that ceremony arches are not permitted under the pavilion.

Accessibility & mobility planning

The walk from the boardwalk to our setup area crosses soft sand, which can be challenging for guests with limited mobility or elderly family members. We strongly recommend arranging a beach wheelchair rental in advance if needed.

Please also note that we are not permitted to set up directly next to the boardwalk. This rule exists to keep pedestrian pathways clear and to allow access for emergency vehicles.

Two great rental options: Lazy Days Beach Rentals and Beach Power Rentals.

What's not allowed on the beach

Gulf Shores enforces strict guidelines to protect the shoreline and ensure everyone's safety. The following are not permitted at any beach ceremony:

  • Alcohol or glass containers

  • Open flames or candles

  • Balloons, glitter, confetti, or Chinese sky lanterns

  • Pets (unless certified service animals)

  • Motorized vehicles on the sand

  • Foot traffic on or disturbance of the dunes

Please also be aware that multiple ceremonies may take place on the same beach at the same time.

Where to stay nearby

We recommend booking accommodations early, especially for spring and summer weddings. Two popular options close to the venue:

Couple exchanging vows at Gulf Shores beach with arch and floral setup
Professional wedding photographer capturing a beach ceremony in Gulf Shores Alabama
Decorated wedding arch on Gulf Shores beach at sunset
Intimate beach wedding ceremony on the Alabama Gulf Coast
Bridal bouquet and floral arrangements for a Gulf Shores beach wedding

We are using the boardwalk #3. If you are facing the water, park on the left side of the parking lot.

Frequently asked questions about Gulf Shores beach weddings

Do I need a permit to get married on Gulf Shores Beach?

Yes. A beach wedding permit is required for all ceremonies on Gulf Shores public beach. The permit fee is $150, plus $15 per car for parking. Your Dream Beach Wedding handles the permit application on your behalf — so there's nothing for you to worry about.

What is the best time of year to get married in Gulf Shores?

The Gulf Coast is beautiful year-round, but the sweet spots are April through early June and September through October. During these months you get warm temperatures (75–85°F), calmer winds, lower humidity than peak summer, and softer golden-hour light for photography. Summer weddings (July–August) are popular but come with peak heat, larger crowds, and hurricane season risk. Winter ceremonies (November–February) are quieter with mild temperatures perfect for an intimate beach elopement.

How far in advance should I book a Gulf Shores beach wedding?

For spring and fall dates — the most popular seasons — we recommend booking at least 4–6 months in advance. Summer weekends can book up quickly too. That said, we do accommodate last-minute weddings when availability allows, so it's always worth calling even if your date is soon.

What is included in your all-inclusive Gulf Shores beach wedding packages?

Our packages include ceremony setup and teardown, a professional photographer with online gallery, a licensed officiant, bridal bouquet and boutonnière, music, arch, coordination. We also offer à la carte add-ons — reception rentals, additional florals, extended photography, sand ceremony sets, and more. View our full Gulf Shores wedding packages for detailed pricing.

Can I get married at Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores?

Yes. Gulf State Park is one of the most beautiful ceremony settings on the Alabama Gulf Coast, with its pavilion offering panoramic Gulf views. Our team is experienced with Gulf State Park ceremonies and can guide you through the additional venue rental and permit process. Contact us for details.

Are elopements available in Gulf Shores?

Absolutely. Our Gulf Shores elopement packages are perfect for couples who want an intimate, stress-free ceremony on the beach — just the two of you (or a small group). Elopement packages include an officiant, photographer, and ceremony setup. See our Gulf Shores elopement packages for full details.

What happens if it rains on my Gulf Shores wedding day?

Gulf Shores weather is typically beautiful, but we always recommend having a backup plan for rain. If you'd like a covered option, you can rent the Gulf Shores Beach Pavilion in advance.
