How Cody and Gabbi Met
Every great love story has a beginning, and this one starts online. Cody and Gabbi met while Gabbi was back home visiting family in Ohio, and after weeks of talking, Cody knew he couldn't let her fly back to Florida without meeting her in person. So he left work, still in his flight suit, and drove straight to the airport to meet her. The rest, as they say, is history — and it's no surprise their wedding day carried that same spontaneous, from-the-heart energy.
A Pier-Side Ceremony with an Unforgettable Surprise
Cody and Gabbi said their vows near the Pensacola Pier, and as if the beach setting weren't already picture-perfect, the Blue Angels flew by right before the ceremony began — a moment none of their guests will forget. For a couple with a military connection, it was a beautifully fitting surprise straight from the sky.

Gabbi's bouquet and the ceremony florals featured a soft, romantic palette of pinks and corals, yellow, and hints of pale blue, layered with lush greenery for a fresh, natural look. The fabric styling for the ceremony was a traditional white, keeping the overall aesthetic timeless while the color palette added warmth and personality.
The couple kept their bridal party small and intimate, surrounded only by close family and friends — a choice that gave the entire day a relaxed, personal feel rather than a big production.
